Uzdonmakhsulot put up for auction 10 thousand tons of 1st grade flour, of which 83% were sold. The average price was at 4.5 million soums a ton. According to experts, today the cost of Soviet type brick-bread based on the price on the stock exchange and its delivery to stores will average 2,550 soums.
On June 1, the first open exchange trading in flour took place at the UzEx.
According to the UzEx, 44 enterprises of Uzdonmakhsulot put up 10.0 thousand tons of 1st grade flour for today's exchange auction and sold 8.3 thousand tons or 83% of them.
“The volume of unsold flour at exchange auctions neared 1.7 thousand tons. In other words, the offer on the flour market on the stock exchange was sufficient.
According to the results of exchange trading, the average price of 1st grade flour amounted to 4 million 497.8 thousand soums per ton. The price of flour on the stock exchange increased by 6% compared to its starting price (4,241.9 thousand soums).
In total, 2822 buyers took part in the exchange trades in flour, 56 of them were Tashkent bakeries. In total, these enterprises purchased 874 tons of flour of the 1st grade on the exchange.
