In addition, he ordered to suspend the application of duties on food imports at an increased rate.
Restrictions on the import of food items in public procurement will be temporarily lifted. At the end of January 2021, the government temporarily restricted the participation of over 520 foreign items in public procurement. Among them are food items, furniture, building materials, household appliances, cars, textile products and others.
It is expected that the powers of the Antimonopoly Committee will be enhanced in cases of unreasonable increase in prices in the market, violation of competition, obstruction of market entry.
