On May 22, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov had a telephone conversation with the Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal ibn Farhan ibn Abdullah.
The parties discussed the bilateral ties, the areas of development, regional and international situation, as well as issues of mutual interest.
Abdulaziz Kamilov left the post of Foreign Minister and was appointed Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan in charge of Foreign Policy and Security on April 27, 2022.
