Sweet boxes with cannabis and devices for use of narcotic substances were found in the checked baggage and hand baggage of an Uzbek who arrived from New York on flight on May 13, the State Customs Committee reported on May 20.
The luggage search found 18 packages of gummies, 2 packages of chewing gum and 1 package of 10 chocolates containing cannabis. Information about this with warnings about the effects of cannabis is reflected on the packaging of these products.
The passenger was also found to have 14 devices with liquid drugs, 1 device for grinding and 4 rolls of special paper for smoking narcotic drugs. In addition, customs officers found a package of marijuana weighing 1.2 g in the passenger's glasses case.
The owner stated that he used these funds for medical purposes and was not familiar with the current procedure. The Committee said that this does not relieve him of liability.
