The SCO’s Public Diplomacy - Mutual Understanding for Development People's Forum kicked off today in Tashkent. The forum, initiated by Uzbekistan, is being attended by more than 120 delegates, including representatives of the parliaments of the SCO member states, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, as well as research centers.
The Chairperson of the Senate of Uzbekistan Tanzila Norbaeva, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Chairman of the SCO Committee on Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Shen Yueyue and the interim Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov are scheduled to make remarks at the forum speak.
At the forum, it is planned to adopt the Tashkent communiqué of the SCO People's Diplomacy. The event will end on May 12.
