On May 2, 2017, the Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov met with newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia H.E. Hisham bin Mishal bin Suwail al-Suwail, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The newly appointed Ambassador presented the copy of his credentials to the Minister.
During the conversation, the sides discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations, including in the framework of the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international structures.
The sides noted the positive dynamics of the Uzbek-Saudi ties in various fields and discussed the priority vectors for furthering the cooperation in trade, economic, investment and other areas.
The sides also considered some international and regional issues.
