Footage of a slaughtered donkey in Kashkadarya province surfaced on social media. The press service of the province police department commented on the situation.
According to the comment, on March 10, 2022, a search by police officers of the Kasan district of the house of a resident of Pakhtazor farm found a slaughtered donkey in his household's utility rooms and 24 more donkeys awaiting slaughter in the yard.
The carcasses were duly documented by the staff of the Quarantine Measures Department of the Province Police Department, the District Department of Veterinary and Livestock Development in the presence of attesting witnesses.
Meat products obtained by the Kasan District Veterinary and Livestock Development Department as material evidence were found to be unfit for consumption during laboratory testing. Meat products were destroyed in the presence of witnesses.
Reportedly, the Kasan district police department is investigating the case.
Earlier, a donkey butcher was detained in one of the houses in Karshi and it was found that there were slaughtered and many donkeys were found in his house.
