Navruz holiday in 2022 will be held in Uzbekistan as a nationwide sayil under the motto “Assalom, Navruz the holiday of renewal and kindness, honor and dignity!” This is stated in the presidential decree of February 17.

The organizing committee, headed by the Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, was instructed to pay special attention to the organization of events during Navruz days, reflecting the harmony of man and nature, his love and care for his native land, calling for careful consideration of its gifts, being grateful, appreciating today's peaceful life, exalt the dignity of man.

During the days of celebration, handicraft exhibitions, national sports contests, book fairs will be held, as well as the preparation and sale of traditional spring dishes in places of festive events.

Local folklore groups, amateur art groups, circus artists, family ensembles, bakhshis, poets, professional performers and variety artists will be attracted to the folk festivities.

Folk festivities will be held at the Yangi Ozbekiston park.

In addition, charitable events dedicated to the holiday will be held for veterans of the Second World War, senior citizens, pupils of the Mehribonlik and Muruvvat houses, citizens living in the Sakhovat houses, persons included in the iron, women's , youth notebooks and notebook of mercy;

It is expected that the activities launched will be organized within the framework of the national project Yashil makon. On the eve of Navruz, a nationwide hashar will be held for landscaping and gardening in all provinces of Uzbekistan.
