On February 17, President chaired a government meeting on the further improvement of customs administration in 2022 and the goals for transforming the area into a corruption-free system.
During the meeting, President highlighted that income and property declaration would be introduced in the customs system.
In addition, within a month, employees who have worked at the same customs post for three years will be rotated.
Starting from March 1 of this year, the customs authorities will hire only on an open competition basis.
Depending on the performance work, customs officers could also be paid an additional bonus of up to 50%. The allowances will be determined based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Customs officers who work in remote and hard-to-reach areas will get bonuses.
