On December 19, the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov attended the third meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the India-Central Asia Dialogue in New Delhi, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The ministers discussed the ways to further strengthen ties between India and the countries of Central Asia in the political, economic area, digitalization and cultural and humanitarian exchanges. The parties exchanged views on the current dynamics of regional cooperation, measures to jointly counter threats and challenges to stability.

In his remarks, the Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov noted the importance of fully tapping the potential of the India - Central Asia format, strengthening the interconnectivity of the two regions, including through the formation of stable trade, economic, transport and communication ties, creating a "green corridor" for goods to the markets of India and Central Asia, creating a platform for IT specialists.

In order to develop proposals for regional development, he proposed to establish an analytical platform "Forum of Analytical Centers in India and Central Asia" with annual events, in turn in each of the countries participating in the format.

The parties paid particular is to the situation in Afghanistan and pointed to the need to develop a post-conflict strategy with respect in order to prevent Afghanistan’s international isolation.

In the panel sessions the sides discussed issues of providing humanitarian assistance for the socio-economic reconstruction of Afghanistan.
