Tehran will host a meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighboring countries on October 27. The statement came from Said Khatibzadeh, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
The participants are expected to focus on how the six countries can help form an inclusive government in Afghanistan with the participation of all national groups.
"A meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighbors will be held in Tehran next week. The meeting will be face-to-face,” he said.
According to him, the agenda included the continuation of the dialogue, which took place online.
On September 8, an online meeting was held on the situation in Afghanistan. It was attended by the Foreign Ministries of Iran, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
