The U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will visit Uzbekistan in October, the statement of the US Department of State said on Monday.
According to the Department, Wendy Sherman will arrive in Tashkent from Geneva, where she will take part in a bilateral dialogue on strategic stability between the United States and Russia.
On October 4, the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State will meet with senior officials and civil society representatives in Tashkent.
Wendy Sherman will travel to New Delhi, India on October 6 for a series of bilateral meetings, attend civil society events and attend the India Ideas Summit. On October 7, she will travel to Mumbai, where she will speak with representatives of business and civil society.
