Uzbek experts will study the experience of building power units at the Paks-2 nuclear power plant in Hungary, the Ministry of Energy said.

This was discussed at a meeting between senior officials of the Ministry of Energy, the Uzatom agency and the Hungarian minister in charge for the Paks-2 project, János Süli in Tashkent on September 27.

The senior officials of the Ministry of Energy and the Uzatom agency will visit the construction sites of the Paks-2 NPP for a detailed study of the work progress. The parties also discussed the issue of training and advanced training of specialists in the field of energy, as well as scholarshipa for Uzbek researchers at the Budapest University of Technical and Economic Sciences and University of Dunaújváros.
