Today, the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov hosted the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, State Minister of Culture of India Minakashi Lekhi, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
Reportedly, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of Uzbek-Indian cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other areas and commended the new upper trend in bilateral relations, which was the result of an active confidential dialogue between the leaders of Uzbekistan and India.
The parties agreed that holding joint events in the spheres of culture and art contributes to the strengthening of mutual understanding between peoples.
