Uzbekistan Airways will resume Tashkent to Kyiv flights from September 26, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Once-a-week flights will be operated on Sundays, with the one way ticket price from Tashkent to Kyiv from 2.2 million soums (without baggage) and from 2.6 million soums (with baggage), return ticket - from 4.2 million soums (without baggage) and from 4, 8 million soums (with luggage). When buying tickets through the Uzbekistan Airways website, one can get a 3% discount.

Air service between Tashkent and Kyiv was halted in May 2015. In April this year, the Transport Minister Ilkhom Makhkamov announced that Uzbekistan and Ukraine are planning to resume direct flights in May.

Since 2020, Ukrainian airlines SkyUp, Bees Airlines and Ukraine International Airlines regularly operate charter flights between the cities of the two countries.
