The President instructed the Ministry of Justice to develop and publish anti-corruption clauses of a recommendatory nature for use by business entities when entering into contracts.

This is stated in the Preisdent’s Measures to radically improve contractual relations Decree.

In addition, instruction was given to place samples of contracts on a special information portal Yurxizmat.uz within three months and regularly updated them based on changes to the legislation.

Also, from January 1, 2022, anti-corruption clauses are mandatory established in contracts related to public procurement entered into by business entities.

In case of non-observance of anti-corruption clauses by the party to a contract and the persons involved (subcontractors, agents and other persons controlled by the parties), the other party has the right to suspend, terminate the contract unilaterally and demand compensation for losses.
