The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at any convenient time.
This was stated in the letter of the Uzbek leader, published in today's issue of the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
In his message, Mirziyoyev thanked for the high organizational level of the Central Asian Summit, which took place on August 6 in the Avaza national tourist zone.
“The Central Asian Summit with a very rich program held on your initiative was very fruitful, and its bright outcomes certainly meet the fundamental interests and aspirations of all our peoples, linked by millennial ties of brotherhood and good neighborliness,” the message of President Mirziyoyev says.
The President of Uzbekistan called the Central Asia Summit "a historic event that has become an important contribution to the consistent strengthening of regional cooperation."
Mirziyoyev expressed his conviction that Uzbek-Turkmen ties would continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of the two peoples, ensuring stability and sustainable progress in Central Asia.
