Another Afrosiyob set of cars will soon be delivered to Uzbekistan. The set, consisting of 11 coaches and two cab cars, is due to be shipped from the St. Petersburg port to Uzbekistan, Uztemiryolyolovchi said in a statement.
The set of cars arrived at the St. Petersburg port on June 30 this year from the Spanish port of Bilbao. In addition, 4 other coaches are arriving along with this set. They are intended for use on similar trains shipped earlier.
Uzbekistan received the delivery of the first Afrosiyob train in 2011. Since then, three more sets have been purchased.
