Uzbekistan Airways will start operating Dushanbe (Tajikistan) flights in April, the carrier’s press service said in a statement. According to the carrier's summer schedule, Duashanbe flights will be operated on A320 aircrafts on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

In November 2016, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan agreed to resume flights in the beginning of 2017. Flights will be carried out by Tajikistan’s Somon-Air and Uzbekistan Airways. The first flight of Somon Air was scheduled for February 20, but was canceled due to the late submission by the Tajik airline of the required documents.

Starting from April, Uzbekistan Airways will also launch flights to Lahore (Pakistan) - on Wednesdays and Thursdays. In addition, in the spring and summer season the frequency of flights to New York, Seoul, Mineralnye Vody, Sochi and Astana will increase. Flights to Dubai, Moscow and Istanbul will be operated on Boeing-787 Dreamliner.
