On February 7 President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on awarding the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Askar Mamin with Dustlik order, a statement of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
Askar Mamin was awarded "for his great services aimed at the development of comprehensive and mutually beneficial relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, personal contribution to the expansion and deepening of cooperation between our countries in the railway transport, as well as active participation in the implementation of major interregional projects and establishment of international transport corridors in the Central Asian region."
