The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan increased by 9 and reached 3,189, the Ministry of Health said. 2 new cases were identified in Karakalpakstan, 5 in the Tashkent province, 1 - in Tashkent city. Of these, six people are drivers of international long-distance trucks, and two were infected through contact with patients with COVID-19.
Another 1 case of coronavirus was detected in a quarantined citizen.
Currently, 2,607 people have recovered from COVID-19, 569 patients remain on treatment.
