The Senate will convene for its fourth plenary session on May 11 in a video conference format, the press service of the Senate said.
The session’s agenda includes 20 items, including 10 bills. Among them are the Establishment of Salomatlik Bill, Establishment of Soglom Turmush Medal,” and Establishment of Fakhriy Murabbiy Order.
The Senate will also discuss the to the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020 Law and the amendments and addenda to the List of Categories of Persons-Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who are Subject To Permanent Registration in Tashkent City and Tashkent Province Law.
In addition, Senate members will consider the issue of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Eurasian Economic Union.
The meeting will hear a report of the Cabinet of Ministers on the implementation of the State Program 2020 in the first quarter of the year, as well as reports of the Ombudsman, the Accounts Chamber, the Prosecutor General and the Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank on activities in 2019.
The agenda also includes the item of approving the President’s Measures to Radically Upgrade National Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Policies Decree.
