Uzbekistan Airways has announced the suspension of the sale of airline tickets international and domestic destinations until June 30. This timeframe can be adjusted by a decision of the Special Republican Commission, the company said.
All tickets dated until June 30 will be refunded, exchanged for another date (only once) once flights are resumed within the ticket validity timeline, and exchange for another destination with fare recalculation. In case of re-issuance of airline tickets, the company is allowed not to charge exchange differences.
Tickets can be purchased for dates after June 30. In case of prolongation of lockdown restrictions and the impossibility of flights, a refund will be made.
Passenger air traffic in Uzbekistan has been completely suspended since March 30. Lockdown measures were first introduced until April 20, and then extended until May 10.
Air cargo continues. The decision on charter flights is made by the Special Republican Commission.
