2 billion soums, or US$ 200 thous., worth of medical equipment arrived from Korea to Uzbekistan on Monday, donated by General Motors and Korean automotive component suppliers as humanitarian aid and a goodwill gesture in support of the fight against coronavirus.
The supply of 36 cardiac monitors and 25 portable ultrasound scanners to Uzbekistan was made possible thanks to the initiative of General Motors, a long-standing partner of Uzavtosanoat, as well as Korean suppliers of automotive components.
“This is the help from GM and Korean suppliers. We hope that it will help save lives in Uzbekistan. We wish you the very best in the fight against this dangerous virus,” - General Motors said in its statement.
