The special commission is getting ready for various possible evolvements of the coronavirus situation, said the expert of the anti-coronavirus headquarters at the Ministry of Health Khabibulla Okilov at a briefing at Information and Mass Communications Agency.
Uzbekistan is ready for any scenario, the expert assured, with reserve beds of the first, second and third order now ready, medicines, PPE and disinfectants reserved. Khabibulla Okilov did not give exact figures, noting only the “sufficient amount” of reserves.
The necessary medical equipment is being purchased, including ventilators, he said. In addition, there are massive online courses on working in a coronavirus situation for all specialties of doctors and nurses.
