The lockdown measures (quarantine), introduced by the Special Republican Commission until April 20, as well as an enhanced regime to counter the spread of coronavirus infection, were extended until May 10, the commission announced in a statement yesterday.
"The comprehensive measures taken to combat coronavirus in the country and, most importantly, the self-isolation and the social distancing made it possible to keep the spread of infection under control," the statement noted.
The extension of the quarantine measures aims at “maintaining the effectiveness of the lockdown measures”.
