A group of 15 consultants and medical experts from China landed in Uzbekistan on Friday to help combat the spread of COVID-19, the Chinese Embassy in Tashkent said.
The China Embassy also posted a video of the Chinese delegation, the ceremony participants unfolded a banner with the inscription "Joint working team from China to Uzbekistan."
In China itself, the situation with coronavirus is relatively stable, where a total of 1,549 imported cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in the country, with 879 people still sick, 45 in serious condition, 670 people having recovered.
In late March and early April, quarantine restrictions were lifted from the Chinese province of Hubei and its administrative center, Wuhan, which became the focus of the disease with a new type of coronavirus in December last year.
