Etsuaki Yoshida, a Japanese expert has been appointed adviser to the Uzbek IT Development Minister, the Ministry said.
Prior to that, Etsuaki Yoshida, 48, served as director and chief economist of the third division of the Country Credit Department of the Credit, Evaluation and Risk Management Group at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). Before that he worked at the Bank of Japan, Japan International Financial Center and the Department of Research and Statistics.
At the Ministry, the Japanese expert will be in charge of attracting foreign investment and international credit lines to implement the Modernization, Technological Re-equipment of Information Technology Enterprises Program.
