The Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the afternoon arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the second meeting of the Council of Heads of Central Asian States.
The high-ranking guest was greeted at the Tashkent International Airport by the Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.
Following the ceremony, the Turkmen delegation departed for their residence.
The Central Asian leaders meeting will take place tomorrow, where the leaders are expected to discuss the ways to further advance the regional cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties are scheduled to review implementation of joint projects in trade-economic, transport-communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and exchange views on topical regional and international issues.
