Cold air masses will move into northern Uzbekistan on October 3 and reach the rest of the country on October 4-5, according to the latest hydrometeorological bulletin.
Rain is expected in northern and desert areas on October 3-4, and in the rest of the country on October 4-5. Some areas will see heavy rain, and in high mountain areas precipitation is forecast to turn to snow.
Temperatures will drop gradually. Nationwide, daytime highs will range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, with overnight lows of 5 to 10 degrees Celsius.
Northern areas will be cooler, with daytime highs of 12 to 17 degrees Celsius and overnight lows of 2 to 7 degrees Celsius.
On October 3-4, wind speeds in some areas are expected to reach 13 to 18 meters per second. In some areas, gusts may occasionally hit 20 to 22 meters per second, kicking up dust.
On October 5-6, fog is possible in some parts of the country.
