On January 19, Uzbekistan and Russia held a round of political consultations between foreign ministries. According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the delegations of the two countries exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the framework of the CIS.
The sides also discussed other issues of Uzbek-Russian relations.
Uzbek and Russian delegations also discussed the preparation for the meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Tashkent and activities within cooperation.
