Today, the Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister, Adham Ikramov and the Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Zhenish Razakov are meeting in Osh.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Government, the sides are to discuss the issues of delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.
During the meeting, Zhenish Razakov stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation and strengthening of good-neighborly relations between the countries.
He also noted the need for a speedy adjustment of the positions on the remaining border sections, and successful completion of the state border delimitation and demarcation.
The meeting is held following the agreements reached between the heads of states during the visit of the Kyrgyz President, Almazbek Atambayev to Uzbekistan in December 2016.
Negotiations on delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border will be continued on 17 January.
