On June 15, the President of Uzbekistan will attend the Fifth Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Dushanbe.

The heads of 12 states - Uzbekistan, China, Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka have confirmed their participation in the Dushanbe summit. Another 15 CICA member countries will be represented by prime ministers, deputy prime ministers and foreign ministers. Afghanistan at the summit will be represented by this country's prime minister Abdullo Abdullo.

The Uzbek leader is scheduled to meet a number of heads of delegations on the margins of the summit, with the main events to be held in Dushanbe’s Kohi Navruz Palace, a government source said.
