Construction of Sergeli overground line, part of Tashkent underground, is estimated to cost 170.1 million US dollars. The project estimates are given in the Nov 29, 2016 Presidential Resolution, published on January 5 on the website of the Finance Ministry.
The project will be funded with 70.1 million dollars from the state budget within the investment program for 2017-2020.
The 35.1 million dollar loan of the Reconstruction and Development Fund, for the purchase of equipment and materials, performance of specialized construction and installation works by foreign contractors and other foreign currency costs within the project.
Another 64.9 million dollars will be provided through loans and other legal sources.
The new six station line will be 7.1 km in length and will be 6 meters above the ground.
