President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Surkhandarya province to familiarize himself with of projects being projects implementation status, visit makhallas, schools and other social facilities and to attend the opening ceremony of the International Bakhshi Art Festival in Termez.
As reported earlier, the maiden International Bakhshi Art Festival will be held in Termez city of Surkhandarya province on April 5-10, 2019 at the initiative of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The Biennial Festival aims to promote the bakhshi folk art, enhance friendship ties between people and cultural cooperation internationally.
