The Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov hosted Matilda Dimovska, who has been appointed Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan, the ministry said.

Matilda Dimovska presented the credentials to the Minister Kamilov with a letter of the UNDP Administrator, Akim Steiner on her appointment to Uzbekistan.

The Minister congratulated Matilda Dimovska on her posting and wished her success. The parties discussed continuing the successful collaboration in accelerating the development agenda and Agenda 2030 in Uzbekistan.

Previously, Matilda Dimovska was the Team Leder at the Country Office Support Group at the UNDP Regional Office for Europe and the CIS. Before that, she worked as UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Turkey (2012–2016), UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Moldova (2008–2012) and UNDP Assistant Resident Representative in Georgia (2006–2008).
