On April 3, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will hold the sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation (IGC), Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The meeting will be held in Termez under the chairmanship of the Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and the Tajik Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda.

The two delegations will reportedly will sum up the implementation progress of the agreements reached during the fifth meeting of the IGC.

The sides will also discuss the ways to further step up cooperation in the trade and economic, transport -communications, energy, cultural and humanitarian as well as in the agriculture and water management fields.
