Starting from March 22, Uzbekistan Railways has launched Tashkent-Bishkek-Rybachye train service, the company said in a statement.

The 25-hour 39 minute long service to the Issyk-Kul lake will be operated on Thursdays with departure at 20:50 from Tashkent Central Station.

The train arrives in Bishkek at 16:03, an in the Rybachye village at 22:29 on Friday. The train leaves back to Tashkent on Saturday at 01:59 and returns to Tashkent at 5:30 on Sunday.

The 300-passenger capacity train includes one first class , 5 coupe, 2 general seat cars and one dining car.

The agreement on the Issyk Kul service was signed by the Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov during the latter's visit to Tashkent.
