Average air temperatures in November are expected to be near the climate norm, and 1-1.5 degrees Celsius above it in some places, according to a monthly forecast for Uzbekistan.
Temperatures in the first ten days of the month are forecast to be mostly 5-10 degrees above zero at night and 17-22 degrees above zero by day.
They are expected to fall in the second and third ten-day periods. Night-time readings will range from 3-8 degrees above zero to between 2 degrees below zero and 3 degrees above. Daytime readings will range from 15-20 degrees above zero to 5-10 degrees above.
Some days may bring precipitation, mostly rain, the forecast said. Rain may briefly turn to snow during cold spells. Monthly precipitation is expected to be near the norm, and below it in some places.
November’s average temperature is typically 6-7 degrees lower than October’s, and 8-9 degrees lower in northern and desert areas, according to long-term climate data. Cold air from the north and northwest tends to arrive more often, and warm spells can give way to sharp cold snaps.
