A high-speed train manufactured in China has completed a test run to Andijan. According to the Andijan province governor's office, the train can travel at speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour and carry 415 passengers at a time. It is expected to cover the distance between Tashkent and Andijan in just three hours.
This follows an earlier report that a Chinese-made CR200J electric train had begun operating between Urgench International Airport and the Khiva railway station.
