Today, the President Mirziyoyev signed a decree to increase wages, pensions, stipends, and social welfare benefits, the Ministry of Justice press service reported.
Starting July 1, pensions and welfare benefits—including child support and allowances for families enrolled in the Single Registry for Social Protection—will increase by 7%:
- Minimum old-age pension will rise to 983,000 soums (up from 918,000 soums).
- Minimum disability pension will be set at 1.083 million soums (up from 1.012 million soums).
- Base pension calculation rate will increase to 504,000 soums per month (up from 471,000 soums).
Monthly child benefits for low-income families will be adjusted as follows:
- For a child under 3 years old: 386,000 soums (up from 360,000 soums).
- For a child aged 3 to 18: 295,000 soums (up from 275,000 soums).
- For second child: 177,000 soums (up from 165,000 soums).
- For third child and subsequent children: 118,000 soums (up from 110,000 soums).
Financial aid for low-income families will be adjusted to 450,000 soums per month (up from 420,000 soums).
Starting September 1, public sector wages and student stipends will also see a 7% increase.
Additionally, the minimum wage will rise to 1.36 million soums (up from 1.271 million soums). The Base Reference Value (BCV, which is used to determine state fees, fines, duties, and other fixed payments) will increase from 412,000 soums to 440,000 soums.
The last round of increases to wages, pensions, stipends, and welfare benefits took place in 2025. At that time, pensions and benefits were raised by 10% on July 1, followed by a 10% hike in public sector salaries and student stipends on August 1.
