As of late first quarter of 2026, the total income of Uzbeks reached 263.2 trillion soums, the National Statistics Committee said in a report.

In the January–March period, nominal income growth stood at 15.5%, while real growth came in at 7.8%. During the same period last year, these figures were 20.9% and 9.8%, respectively.

Per capita total income grew by 13.5% in nominal terms (compared to 18.5% in the same period of 2025) and by 5.8% in real terms (versus 7.6%). As a result, average per capita income for the reporting period reached 6.9 million soums (up from 5.9 million soums).

By province, the highest income growth was recorded in Tashkent city (+10.3%), Navoi province (+8.9%), and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (+6.9%). The capital and three provinces — Navoi, Bukhara, and Tashkent — reported per capita incomes above the national average.

The lowest figures were recorded in Namangan (4,617,000 soums), Surkhandarya (4,706,000 soums), and Kashkadarya (4,896,000 soums) provinces.
