On November 2-3 Russian Prime Minister Dmitriy Medvedev will pay an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan to attend a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the press service of the Russian government said.

Dmitry Medvedev will reportedly meet with the leadership of Uzbekistan. In particular, the Uzbek PM Abdulla Aripov will host Dmitry Medvedev on November 2.

The sides are expected to discuss a wide range of topical issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia and consider issues of expanding cooperation in trade, economic, investment, energy, industrial and agricultural fields.

The heads of government will also inspect the progress of implementation of major joint infrastructural and high-tech projects.

Following the talks, the sides will sign a number of corporate, interdepartmental and intergovernmental accords.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will also be received by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

On November 3, Dmitry Medvedev will attend the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
