Complaints from vehicle owners about growing queues at the test site in Pskent have inundated social networks. The Center for Scientific Testing and Quality Control, UzTest commented on the situation.
According to UzTest, the Pskent laboratory has 100-120 vehicle checks daily capacity and operates 24/7, including holidays. To prevent corruption, an appointment for a M1 category vehicles conformity checks is made through the governmental services portal. The queue is formed by a QR code using the OneID identification system or an electronic digital signature.
From March 20 to 25, a mass sending of requests from the same IP addresses was recorded, which led to an overload of the system. With the participation of Uzinfocom and other departments, work is underway to improve and protect the electronic registration system, which is currently operating in test mode.
UzTest called the information about high prices for car testing misleading and published the official tariffs:
- for electric vehicles - 4,479,888 soums;
- for gasoline, diesel and hybrid cars - 5,599,888 soums.
