Four workers of Mubarek Gas Processing Plant were poisoned with gas after a blast on Wednesday, when performing repair and cleaning works of vessel of a filter-separator at propane-butane mixture production plant due to negligence , according to the Uzbek Emergency situtations ministry.
As a result, three people: the head of the production plant, Azam Kuliyev, operators Kudrat Turaev and Umrzoq Urinov were killed on the spot.
Operator Davron Botirov was hospitalized, with his condition assessed as satisfactory.
A government commission has been set up to study the causes of the incident and prepare a set of measures to prevent such accidents.
The Commission is taking measures to provide all required assistance to the families of the victims.
