A land-related crime has been committed in the Khorezm province, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office said today.
Reportedly, after a complaint by the individual B.T. to the Department for combating land-related crimes of the Khorezm province police department, an urgent action was taken in cooperation with the provincial prosecutor's office and other law enforcement agencies.
During the action, a person named I.B. and others were detained with material evidence while stating them that 10 hectares of arable land in the provincial governor office’s reserve located in Shavot district belonged to him, and agreed to sell it for 250 million soums for planting rice and use the land next year, receiving 6.7 thousand dollars and 3.8 million soums in advance.
A criminal case was opened under Fraud charge, with preliminary investigation underway.
