The president Mirziyoyev signed the Accession to international treaties Decree, according to which Uzbekistan has joined the following protocols, conventions and agreements:
- Second Additional Protocol to the General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union (Addis Ababa, September 7, 2018);
- Third Additional Protocol to the General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union (Abidjan, 26 August 2021);
- Universal Postal Convention (Abidjan, August 26, 2021);
- Final Protocol to the Universal Postal Convention (Abidjan, 26 August 2021);
- Postal Payment Services Agreement (Abidjan, August 26, 2021);
- Final Protocol to the Agreement on Postal Payment Services (Abidjan, 26 August 2021).
The Ministry of Digital Technologies has been designated as the body in charge of the implementation of these international agreements.
The Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant ministries and departments shall ensure the oversight the implementation of the provisions of these international treaties after their taking effect.
