Talks took place at the Uzbek Embassy with the chief of the Hungarian International Organization for Migration (IOM) office, Daniel Bagameri. The meeting discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of labor migration, exchanged views on promising areas of cooperation, including the development of programs for the protection of migrants' rights, improving the skills of labor migrants, ensuring their safe and legal employment abroad.
Daniel Bagameri voiced his interest in deepening cooperation in this regard, developing programs aimed at improving the working conditions for Uzbeks and also put forward a proposal to organize Hungarian language courses for Uzbek citizens planning to work in Hungary.
The parties agreed to continue working together to ensure the safety and rights of labor migrants and improve their working conditions abroad.
