Today, in Astana, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym Jomart Tokayev met with the participants of the 55th meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Bodies and Special Services of the CIS countries. It was attended by the head of the Executive Committee of the organization, the heads of the special services of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and the Anti-Terrorist Center of the CIS.

Reportedly, this platform has proven itself as a means of coordinating efforts in the field of security, and that the role of the Council is increasing in modern conditions.

"Kassym Jomart Tokayev underscored that the swift exchange of operational and analytical information allows to increase the effectiveness of combating threats and threats to regional security, and serves to develop agreed approaches to protect the national interests of our countries.
