Zakir Jalali, director of the third political department of the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Emirate, said that Abdul Ghafar Tirawi has been introduced as the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate to Uzbekistan.
Jalali added that both parties have agreed on this matter, and the newly appointed ambassador is expected to soon begin his duties in Tashkent.
He also stressed that understandings have been reached with some countries to elevate the level of diplomatic relations.
The director of the third political department of the Foreign Ministry said: "In the past three years, the Islamic Emirate has proven itself as a stable and strong regime, and day by day, the region and the world are realizing this truth. In the near future, Abdul Ghafar Tirawi will also start his work as the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Tashkent."
"They come closer to attract benefits and also come closer to avert harm. These countries that have tried to engage with Afghanistan have their own interests, and Afghanistan also has its own interests," Abdul Shukor Dadras, a political analyst, said.
Meanwhile, some experts have differing views on the expansion of the Islamic Emirate's relations with the world.
"The current interim government is trying to ensure that countries not only recognize them practically or accept their political representatives, but also to create a situation internally and an international environment so that we can gain official legitimacy," Baqer Saeer, a political analyst, said.
"We must continue in this manner to emerge from the current situation and isolation, and to present ourselves as an honorable and respectable country to the world and move forward," Mohammad Aslam Danishmal, a political analyst, said.
Earlier, Badruddin Haqqani was accepted as the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate to the United Arab Emirates, and Mohammad-ul-Rahman was accepted as the chargé d'affaires of the Islamic Emirate's embassy in Astana.
